Parent/Guardian perceptions important data for the district
Parent/Guardian perceptions important data for the district
Douglas Johnson, Superintendent
Monday, April 15, 2019

In order for our school district to continue to improve, it is important for us to know how our parents/guardians regard the job we are doing in providing a quality education for all children. Parent/Guardian feedback is crucial for us to know what you consider our strengths and our opportunities for growth.  We have determined the best way to gather this information is to survey our parents/guardians. Since 2011 the district has used (in odd numbered years) a survey developed by the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE), a Bellevue, WA based research firm. The data gathered is reviewed and used to celebrate areas of strength and to check our progress in areas where we have been working to improve.

To gather this information we are asking you to take this important opportunity to share your perceptions about the district.  The survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete.  The survey is available on line beginning Monday April 15 until Friday April 26. If you would prefer a hard copy of the survey, they are available in both building offices and the district office. The hard copy surveys should be returned to the district where we will send them to CEE for tabulation.

The link below will take you to the Parent Survey tool. The survey is anonymous with the information gathered directly by CEE prior to reporting the final results to the district.

The information we receive back is reported to us as a building and district profile.  This profile will provide us with information to support our building school improvement plans.

We value your input as we strive to continue to improve our school.  Thank you for your feedback.

Sincerely,

 Douglas Johnson, Superintendent
