I was born and raised in Lewiston Idaho. Our household was always
very busy. My 5 siblings and I were encouraged by our parents to be
involved in a variety of activities within the community and in school.
In addition we helped out in various ways over the years at the family
business. While attending school at  Lewiston Senior High I played
volleyball, basketball and participated in track & field  for all
there years of high school. I then attended the University of Idaho and
competed on the track & field team for one year. My love of sport
and activities continued as I earned my bachelors degree in Physical
Education and Health Education from the U of I. My first teaching job
was at Washougal High School where I also coached Volleyball, Basketball
and Track & Field. After four years coaching track and field at WHS
I had the opportunity to become the throwing events coach at Clark
Community College in Vancouver, WA for 5 seasons. I was a teacher and
coach at Washougal High School for 11 years. In 1999 I earned my Masters
Degree in School Administration with an emphasis in Athletic
Administration at the WSU Vancouver and Pullman campuses. I began my
career in administration at Sultan High School as an Assistant Principal
& Athletic Director, where I remained for 7 years. In 2007 I
accepted the position as Athletic Director & Associate Principal at
Oak Harbor High School. After 11 years I decided to move back to
Lewiston to be closer to family. I enjoy spending time with my family
and friends, cooking, sewing, photography  and various craft projects. I
have two dogs Maddy & Zoe that let me know they are the ones in
charge. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the
students, families, district faculty and staff in the Dayton School
