SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION 

The following is a list of scholarships that are available to Dayton High School Students (and in some cases DHS Alumni). For more information or application materials please contact Jana Eaton, Scholarship Coordinator, in the administration office at 509-382-2543 or email janae@daytonsd.org.

***please follow due date guidelines. turn in scholarship applications early so they can be checked for errors and to make sure all of the information is complete. turn them in to jana eaton in the admin office.

It is very important that you read each application carefully. Make sure that you read the criteria for each scholarship and make sure that you submit all application materials requested and follow directions for required application information. REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR LETTER OF APPLICATION BEFORE SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION!!!


COCA-COLA SCHOLARSHIP
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 31st class in 2019, the Foundation has provided over 6,150 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $69 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Open to current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.

WASHINGTON STATE FAIR FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP(S)
Available to students planning to attend an accredited two or four year college, university or trade/technical school in the fall of 2020. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7; currently working, volunteering or involved in a school sponsored activity at least 8 hours per month on average; and prior involvement with the fair (4-H, FFA etc).

TheWashBoard.org is a free, student-centered, online clearinghouse for Washington students seeking college scholarships. This user-friendly site allows students to search and apply for scholarship opportunities that are specific to their academic interests, college, university, or other criteria. Students can easily see what criteria are required and apply for only those scholarships that are a good fit. Scholarships are available year-round, so students should keep their profile up to date and log-in periodically to see if there are new matches.
