Voting Facts

  • In Washington, a school LEVY measure must be approved by 50 percent of the vote, and a school bond measure must be approved by 60 percent.
  • All voting in Washington is done by mail.
  • Ballots are mailed about three weeks prior to an election day.
  • The upcoming election requires ballots to be returned by February 11, 2020.

Remember to Vote

Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 is Election Day. Dayton School District will have TWO propositions on the ballot (one for the EP&O Levy and one for the Capital Levy). We encourage all registered voters to remember to vote. If you vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked no later than February 11. Or, you may turn in your mail ballot on or before February 11 at a ballot drop-off location.
