Parenting is the hardest and most rewarding passion most of us have ever had! If you are like me there have been, and still continue to be, many times I wish there were more tools in my parenting tool belt: Tools that helped me connect in different ways with my children. Tools that help me understand myself better in order to guide my kids.
The Coalition for Youth & Families is a local group that provides resources for our community to help us as we raise and educate our children. This coming April they will be presenting a free workshop with childcare and dinner provided. The Guiding Good Choices Parenting Workshop is aimed at providing an opportunity to learn new skills as we work through conflict, challenging peer pressures and life situations that arise with our children.
