Dayton School District is seeking applications from residents of the District interested in being
appointed to committees to write the for/against statements for the Columbia County Local
Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s following ballot measures to be considered at the
February 13, 2024 Special Election: (1) Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy; and (2) Replacement Capital Levy for Technology, Safety and Facility Improvements. Interested residents should send their name, address, phone number, and which and ballot measure and position they represent to: Rich Stewart, Superintendent, Dayton School District, 609 S. 2nd St., Dayton, WA 99328 or via email at richs@daytonsd.org by December 5, 2023. The Board will take action on the appointments at its December 6, 2023 regular board meeting.
