Innovia Rural Education Support Community Forum

Dayton School District has worked with Innovia for many years.  They are a big supporter of your kids and our community.  Their latest initiative, at a cost of $150,000, has the goal of getting more of our students to college or post-secondary training.  I have attached a flyer of this initiative.  We are having a community forum this Wednesday at 7 PM via zoom.  If you are interested, please click on the link below and register.  Within the next few weeks, all parents will be receiving a survey.  CEE or the Center for Educational Effectiveness is administering the survey.

Please take the time to fill it out when you receive it.  It will help guide our decisions. Thanks for your continued support of the staff and students of Dayton School District.  Please call Meg Lindsay at the number below or me at 509-382-2543 with any questions or comments

Innovia has received funding support from College Spark Washington to launch a
Rural Education Support initiative in five rural school districts across Eastern Washington.  We will be working with the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) to launch an Educational Effectiveness Survey with local stakeholders in your community. Local data from the survey will be utilized to guide a series of forums designed to increase community support for quality
schools.

In partnership with Dayton School District we are hosting a community forum on Wednesday, March 10th at 7pm to launch this effort. Please join us and help us to connect to other leaders in this community that should attend. This one hour opportunity includes:

  • A facilitated conversation to identify local education priorities
  • Learn about the upcoming survey that will take the “pulse “ of education support in your area
  • Share goals for youth and help us to build a message to share with others

As a Leadership Council member, we would value your time and talent for this initiative. If you are interested in learning more and registering for this community event, see the event registration page: https://innovia.iphiview.com/innovia/Events/Events/EventDetails/tabid/704/dispatch/eventdetails_id$81369/Default.aspx   or contact me for more information.

We are looking for community feedback as we launch this work and feel you and your organization would have a valuable perspective. I would be more than happy to chat through and answer any questions you may have.

My best,
Meg
