Meet Madison our 2021-2022 Student Representative to the Dayton School Board. Madi is a sophomore this year at Dayton High School. Her future plans include attending college and studying law. She is actively involved in our high school and is an advocate for others. She plans to use her position on the board to bring the concerns of the students to the attention of the school board while acting as a liaison between the students and school administration. She has taken a leadership class for the last year and a half and believes the skills she has learned in this class will benefit her new position on the board.
Madi is also involved in many extra-curricular activities in the high school which include Youth and Government, Future Business Leaders of America and is a member of the DW Volleyball team. She has also been involved in a year-long leadership program through Sherwood Trust.
Madison was officially appointed as Student Representative to the Board on October 6, 2021 by unanimous vote.
