Staff at Dayton Elementary set a mighty large goal for Read Across America Week this year. Starting on February 28th and ending on March 4th, the more students read, the more strips of tape they would earn to stick Principal Cox to the wall. They estimated they would need at least 600 strips to get her to stay and the kids blew that goal out of the water! They earned over 1,000 strips of duct tape and were able to hold her off the floor.
