Anastasia Czapka did it! She won the Scary Stories Scholarship and a $25 gift certificate to Fiesta En Jalisco. Her story "Bell in the Woods" made me think of a time when I went camping and woke up hearing something. A noise that shouldn't be there but it was, clear, identifiable and totally out of the realm of possibility for a noise you would hear in the woods. As I read Anastasia's story it took me back. If you would like a copy of her scary story then pop in to the District Office and I'll make you one.
