Important Announcement

The Dayton School District sends out emergency notifications and updates through the live feed on the school website at www.daytonsd.org. There is also an app with directions shown below (for cell phones), that the District will use for notifications in the event of an emergency, closure and/or delays due to weather and other important information. To download the app, go to your app store (on your cell phone) and type in daytonschooldistrictwa and look for the Bulldog logo. If you have questions or need more information, please contact the District office at 509-382-2543.

Dayton School District App:

To get the push notifications from the Dayton School District Website:

  • Download the app onto your phone (use whatever you normally use- i.e. Google play, APP Store, etc.  Search for Dayton School District, WA (Apptegy).  Once installed you will need to create an account with your email and a password.
  • If you have already done this and you still didn't get the notification you need to check the settings.  Make sure you have connected your mobile device/ email/ etc.
  • Once you have the connections, you can click on settings.
  • Also remind them that, to agree to get notifications, you don't go to the notifications menu (kind of a frustrating design choice), you go to the settings menu. Then, be sure that both a) "Turn on Notifications" is set to “on” AND b) you've selected "District" under "Receive notifications from."
