Our HS Softball Schedule has been updated to add in 5 double-headers for our JV team. We also moved our Varsity games at Mac-Hi in Milton-Freewater to JV games and replaced that with a varsity double-header at home against Liberty Christian
UPDATE: baseball will now play a single game before the softball doubleheader. Bus will now leave Dayton at 6AM, Waitsburg at 6:15 AM
The high school winter sports awards night will be Wednesday, March 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the Waitsburg auditorium.
The community forum that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.
Middle School Spring Sports will be Baseball and Softball only with practices beginning on Monday, March 28 and games beginning after Spring Break. Baseball and Softball will have a full, 10-game schedule which will be finalized by early next week.
HS Spring Sports Practices begin Monday, 2/28. Baseball will be in Waitsburg and Dayton athletes will leave on the practice bus at 3:15 from behind the gym. Track and Softball will practice in Dayton and will leave on the practice bus from behind the Waitsburg gym at 3:30. The bus will return Waitsburg athletes at between 6-6:15 and will then pick up baseball players to return to Dayton. Golfers may work with their school to get approval for private transportation to and from the golf course in Dayton.

6-12 students return to in-person learning Tuesday, February 1st.
DW Basketball resumes tomorrow when the Wolfpack travels to Warden with JV Boys' beginning at 4:30 p.m. followed by Varsity girls' and boys'. MS Girls' will have their first game of the season on Wednesday in Waitsburg. Game time is 4:00 p.m.

Saturday's games vs. River View have been rescheduled for Thursday, 02/03. Monday's Middle School game at Prescott is canceled as of now with the hope of rescheduling later in the season. Updated schedules are available on dwsports.org
Due to a high number of COVID cases, the Columbia County Health Department and Chief Health Officer have halted all basketball activities beginning tomorrow, 1/26, to be reevaluated on Monday, 1/31. There will be no Middle School or High School practices or games until that time.
On Monday, if it is determined we can resume, then High School will have practices at the normal times with all athletes being re-tested at practice. Middle School girls would then be re-tested Tuesday morning and practice would resume that afternoon.
Grades 6-12 will move to remote learning beginning tomorrow Wednesday, January 26th through Monday, January 31st. The elementary school will remain in-person learning with the normal school schedule.
Reminder that tomorrow is a scheduled early release day.
Meals for grades 6-12 will be available for pick up between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria (please use side door off of 2nd Street).

Boys' varsity & JV games at WWVA tomorrow have been canceled. Girls' varsity will play at WWVA at 6:00 p.m. Our MS Girls' game against Rogers this Wednesday has been canceled and will be rescheduled for later in the season.
